Description
Philippe Poirier's latest album was released in November 2004. For his third album, Kat Onoma’s famous saxophonist and guitarist distinguishes himself by the constant oppositions made between instrumental sessions and electric parts.
Qu’est-ce qui m’a pris is a collective work, that enabled to produce different styles of music. Indeed, Philippe Poirier has invited many of his old friends such as Guy Bickel, Pascal Benoit or Marco De Olivera from Kat Onoma, Stefan Schneider from To Rococo Rot or Ronald Lippok and Bernd Jestram from Tarwater. In the end, Philippe Poirier managed to make of Qu’est-ce qui m’a pris a fascinating, rich and subtle record.
